2014 Korea-Morocco Youth Exchange Program 2015-01-19

Korea-Arab Society began the 'Korea-Arab Youth Exchange Program' since 2011 to better understand each other's culture and forge new friendships.

Six university students from Morocco who are in Korean-wave club or learning Korean languages were invited to visit Korea from 12 to 17 December 2014. They experienced various aspects of Korea by visiting industrial sites such as Hyundai Motors in Ulsan and historical sites such as Korean folk village in Gyeongju.

Regardless of cold weather in Korean winter and the short stay of six days, the students actively participated in all programs showing how Korean culture is popular among young generation of Morocco. They showed great  affection towards Korean wave by replaying some scenes from Korean soap opera and singing K-pop songs.

Korea-Arab Society will continue to invite Arab students to provide them various opportunities of experiencing Korean culture.
