H.E. Hany Selim, Ambassador of Egypt to Korea delivered a special lecture which is hosted by the Korea-Arab Society on 19 May 2017 at Ewha Womans University under the title of "History and Culture in Egypt". The lecture was about not only general information of Egypt but female historical figures in Egyptian history. In addition the ambassador introduced abundant tourist attractions in Egypt.

Many undergraduate and postgraduate students from Department of International Studies attended. After the lecture, Q&A and discussion session were carried out with students who showed great interest in politics, society and gender issue in Egypt.
