Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is a period of prayer, fasting, charity-giving and self-accountability for Muslims.

Ramadan 2013 starts from Tuesday, 9 July and will continue for 30 days until Wednesday 7 August.

In this regard, the working hours of the relevant Arab embassies in Seoul will be reduced as follows.

Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Seoul  10:00~15:00 (Mon~Fri)

Embassy of the UAE in Seoul        10:00~15:00 (Mon~Fri)
