Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. It is a period of prayer, fasting, charity-giving and self-accountability for Muslims.

Ramadan 2014 starts from Saturday, 28 June and will continue for 30 days until Sunday 27 July.

In this regard, the working hours of the relevant Arab embassies in Seoul and offices in the Arab region will be reduced.
