Special Lecture Series by Arab Diplomatic Corps hosted by the Korea-Arab Society, was held on 3 June 2014 at Sun Moon University. H.E. Khalil Al-Mosawi, Ambassador of Iraq to Korea was invited to deliver a special lecture about ‘History, Relationship and Future of Korea and Iraq’. He brought speech about civilisation of Iraq and the Arab world which is located in borders of Europe and Asia and then talked about history, economy and relationship of Iraq with Korea. He also explained oil industry sector, the Iraq War and about the future relationship and development between Korea and Iraq. Many students from International Relations department, Sun Moon Center for Islamic Studies and Muslim students attended. After the lecture, Q&A and discussion time about various issues took place and the Ambassador shared his opinions. Prior to the lecture, the Ambassador had a meeting with Dr. Hwang Sun Jo, President of Sun Moon University about student exchange programmes and education cooperation plan for the future.
