Korea-Arab Society organised a special lecture for students at Dankook University's Middle Eastern department on 28 May 2014. H.E. Mohamed Alharthy, Ambassador of Oman to Korea was invited as a lecturer. He delivered a special lecture with a theme ‘Welcome to Oman’ and talked about Oman’s history, culture, relationship and development prospect with Korea to commemorate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Oman. He also explained about the importance of mutual understanding on cultural exchange, emphasising that culture exchange is the way to promote mutual relations between Korea and Oman. Prior to the lecture, the Ambassador had a meeting with Dr. Choi Hak-keun, Vice President of Dankook University about student exchange between Dankook University and Oman’s Sultan Qaboos University. There was also a small photography exhibition of Oman in front of lecture room to promote various culture of Oman.
