The Korea-Arab Society hosted a Special Lecture by Arab Diplomatic Corps at Ewha Womans University on November 22, 2019 for its students of Graduate School of International Studies(GSIS).

Nabih EL ABED, the Ambassador of Tunisia to Korea gave the lecture for Ewha GSIS students under the subject of 'A New Tunisia: Hopes & Challenges'. The Ambassador started his lecture with the brief overview of Tunisia about its economy and history. Then kept his explanation about the 'Arab Spring', which was started from death of a Tunisian young man Mohamed Bouazizi. Meanwhile, he mentioned that Tunisia is also faced with the economic, political and security challenges. 

After the lecture, the GSIS students made a meaningful time by throwing their questions about the social issues in Tunisia, and continuing the discussion with the Ambassador about the comparison of the politics and economy of Tunisia with those of Korea.
