Korea-Arab Society hosted a special lecture by ambassador of Tunisia on 4th of April, 2018 at Goyang Global High school. 

The lecture was delivered by Nabih El Abed, Ambassador of Tunisia to Korea, on the theme of “Tunisia, an inspiring country in a changing world”. He introduced not only general information of Tunisia including history and geography but reformist aspects that liberated slaves for the first time in the Arab world and adopted family law. He also explained so called “Arab Spring” which leads to the winning of the Nobel Peace Prize. After the lecture, students’ questions and discussions were continued in various area such as interests towards Korea in Tunisia, comparison of democratization between Tunisia and Korea, gender equality and relations with neighboring countries of Tunisia.
