Korea-Arab Society organised a special lecture for students from Department of International Studies at Ewha Womans University on 20 May 2016. H.E. Mohammed Derragui, Ambassador of Algeria to Korea was invited to deliver the lecture and talked about history, political and social affairs of Algeria and also the cooperation between Korea and Algeria. His lecture included topics regarding the French colonial period which is quite similar to the Korean history on Japanese colonisation. During Q&A session, students enthusiastically asked questions on various issues such as Algeria's geographical status in Africa, women's rights in politics and youth employment status changes.
