Korea-Arab Society organised a special lecture for students from Department of International Studies at Ewha Womans University on 12 June 2015. H.E. Jasem Albudaiwi, Ambassador of Kuwait to Korea was invited to deliver the lecture and talked about history, political affairs of Kuwait and also the economic cooperation between Korea and Kuwait. His lecture included topics regarding the British colonial period, Saddam Hussein's Iraqi invasion and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. During Q&A session, students enthusiastically asked questions on various issues such as Kuwait's status of international development, human rights, women's rights, welfare system and foreign policy of Kuwait. The Ambassador had a meeting with Prof. Park Ihn-whi, Vice President of International Affairs ahead of the lecture and discussed ways to initiate academic exchanges between the universities in Kuwait and Ewha Womans University.
