H.E. Hany Selim, Ambassador of Egypt to Korea delivered a special lecture which is hosted by the Korea-Arab Society on 26 September 2014 at Ewha Womans University under the title of "A Foreign Policy Design for the Third Republic in Egypt: Re-emerging the Regional Power in the wake of its new century". The lecture began with the political background of Egypt's history; revolution in 1952 and 2011 till current times. The Ambassador mentioned rapid growth of Korean economy and significance of cooperation between Egypt and Korea. Many undergraduate and postgraduate students from Department of International Studies attended. After the lecture, Q&A and discussion session was carried out with students who showed great interested in politics, society and gender issue in Egypt.
